Perth Commercial Property stalwart Andrew Woodley-Page has joined boutique firm Axia Corporate Property. Mr Woodley-Page has been responsible for over $3.5 Billion in transactions since commencing his career with CBRE in 2000.

His record speaks for its self, having been involved in the sale of many of Perth’s prime office towers and one of the very few operators with expertise in transacting neighborhood shopping centres nationally.” Mr Woodley-Page notes significant change in the corporate real estate world. “After 18 years of dealings with market participants from ASX listed institutions, local and interstate syndicate managers and high net worth private investors from all over the country I have formed the view that the nature of commercial agency has changed significantly and will likely to continue to evolve in my opinion.”

“My conclusion is that the best and most successful agencies are either the largest American Headquartered international firms, or a more bespoke boutique agency, most of whom largely comprise of highly successful operators who were previously long standing senior directors of the large US firms and typically have an enormous book of relationships and IP and long standing track records. IncRE, McVay & Stonebridge on the Eastcoast and Lease Equity, Sheffield and Axia locally all founded by ex-senior operatives of CBRE or JLL ” Mr Woodley-Page said “The mid-sized firms face a constant challenge in trying to emulate the larger firms model but just can’t compete when it comes to resources, management expertise nor can they offer the career progression or remuneration for employees and similarly they don’t have the IP of either the large firms or the experienced market leading operatives going boutique. Obviously, boutique operators can focus more strongly on client goals and tailoring solutions more aligned with their client’s objectives. That’s the certainly the feedback I’m getting from clients across the board.” Mr Woodley-Page said.
